It's a New Year of Cases to Crack.....
and the first is a doozey!!
Something a little on the bright side and a lot of fun!!
First I shall share my layout and then give you all the details so you can CRACK the case yourself!

Here is how I solved Case File No. 104
Colour Scheme- All colours
Evidence- I have framed my photo using texture paste and an embossing folder.. I have a SCRAPMATTS dove and SCRAPMATTS heart. Silver metal, under my title (from spotlight, jewelery making section.)
Testimony- (Written on a tag attached to the back of my layout.) It makes me smile to see you at this stage of life....on the threshold of becoming a family...x
Lots of texture...water colour paints, SCRAPMATTS......

Oh I love the beautiful softness to this layout. I am only just starting to get brave enough to try "messy" techniques in my scrapping, and texture paste is one thing I haven't tried yet. I do love the way you've framed the photo with texture paste, and I love the idea of using embossing folders to add the pattern. I have a BUNCH of folders... I think you've bumped this higher on my to do list :) Thanks so much for visiting my blog.
