WOW!!!! This time next week I will be in Brisbane setting up for EXPO.....Yay!!!
It's going to be so much fun....and I will be catching up with lots of beautiful and old!!!
 So I was very inspired by this weeks (#73) over at

           I mean how's that for inspiration.....if you haven't been over, you really should it really gets you thinking...

 {First Camp}
I've used an ornate frame from Scrapmatts which I have painted with gesso. I've also used a selection of goodies from Craft Queen

Some texture and misting....and pulling flowers apart...cutting here and there...

More misting and knotting of thread......
 and below is a creation for CraftQueen using some gorgeous Prima papers, Prima mask and other goodies Nicole will have at Brisbane Scrapbooking and Papercraft Expo....running from 8th-9th-10th June...

I will be sharing tips like, how to get the most from your pattern papers....and also some other great background techniques....
  Hope to see you there.

Now onto my entry into this weeks
 CSI Challenge (#72)

  {a close-up}

 {Unbalanced View}
Evidence--doily (cut up),book page, metal eyelets and brads, kraft background. Testimony-my photo was very unbalanced....a good part of DD's face was cut off, so twisted it over to unbalanced...also a good life message.

I've used lots

of goodies from
and awesome bits from
 I love them!!! and another great thing about SCRAPMATTS is the fabulous value, you get from all of their products.
I've used some bits from the Ornate Frames pack (CB4060)
and the word Beautiful is from the Scrapmatts Scrap Words (CB1192) in Burnt cream colour.
Thanks for popping in and hope your having a great week....

Scrapmatts........Beach Dreaming.....sigh!

 Happy Hump day, people!!!

 Today I have a bit to show you.... so get comfy!
Firstly, my Design Team reveal for Scrapmatts .
 This month we were asked to create an off the page project and also a layout, (for the layout we could choose a colour combo from these 3).
  1. Black, White and Red
  2. Black, White and Yellow
  3. Monochromatic
For my Off the Page project I decided to use the new Memory Cabinet. A few of the DT members have created some stunning examples....make sure you pop over and have a look in the Scrapmatts Gallery.
{ Beach Dreaming Cabinet }
 {Inside Cabinet}
{ Inside Texture }
I love how this bit turned out!!!!
It looks like a windy, cloudy day....and the netting looks a little like foamy sea.
 I've used Scrapmatts- Nautical Design (CB4059), Scrap Words (CB1200).....buttons from
The lovely Miss Annette gave me the netting.....bless her little cotton socks. The shells I had just laying around and some seed beads.
 CB7011 Memory Cabinet 01
The Memory Cabinet
looks like this is it's raw state....which I love! I really didn't want to paint it but it had to be done....think how awesome this would be done up for a special someone....the possibilities are endless! (and super easy to put together).
Now here is the layout I created....

{You Make Me Smile}
I decided to do Black-White-Yellow
Chevron washi tape and buttons from Craft Queen
Look at those Silhouettes (CB1196), aren't they cute!  I've also used the Scrap Words (CB1197)
If you look at the pic of my cheeky little man you will see a narrow black frame that is also in the pack of Silhouettes. I love how you can use every bit of Scrapmatts!
Thanks so much for stopping
Hope your having a great week
Oh! very excited to be on
Most Wanted List....
with this layout
Thank You

CSI # 70 Day Challenge and Happy Mother's Day

Hello and Happy Mum's Day......
                                                   hope you all get a little spoilt today!
 Actually I had a horrible start to mine....poor Hugo has a bad cold which in-turn triggers off his asthma.....think it was about 3:30 before I even closed my eyes. Hugo seems a bit better this morning, thankfully....sigh!
 Roy cooked me breakfast, (scrambled eggs, bacon, fried tomato and toast). Kidlets wandered in and gave me my awesome Mother's Day stall, gifts.... Now they won't let me touch anything to do with cleaning.....God love ém !!
  Thinking of my Mum today as well......LOVE YOU!!!!

Now onto the CSI #70 Challenge.

Pretty isn't it!
   and this is what I came up with....
Flowers, washi tape and trims from Craft Queen
Evidence-flowers, metal eyelets, circle button, woven circle.
Testimony- One of the roles I play in being a mother.
I really enjoyed creating this layout....

The reason I called this Chief Guidance Counsellor is that Mr Hugo actually has many guidance counsellors.....But I am Chief!!!! With 3 older sisters and 4 older brothers he surely has plenty of role models..... and awesome guidance!
 Thanks for stopping in.....Hope you have a truly sunny day

Love and Hugs

Scrapfriends Sketch Challenge #13

Hello Scrappy friends.......
   I'm really enjoying some of the inspiration from
the sketches are pretty awesome
(make sure you pop over and have a look at what the amazing DT have done with this sketch).
That's why I just had to have a go at it!!!
I've used some lovely Circle trim, flowers and embossing folder from
 I've also used this gorgeous frame from Scrapmatts {CB4056}...
I have been saving this ornate frame, cause I LOVE IT......and this layout was just perfect to use it on......My darling middle daughter, Madison. She is a very shy this photo (that she actually allowed me to take) she was playing around wearing (her father's), Roy's glasses.
I've also used some micro beads....and EYELETS, yes I love them!!!!
The quote I've used as my title I found on FB the other day..... It was just right...
Also remember to checkout the classes I will be teaching at the Brisbane
June long-weekend
Class name's Always Believe and Wish Right Now
I will also be sharing tips on getting the most out of your papers..... & some NEW ideas with old products you might already have in your scrapbooking stash!!!
Hope to see you there?

Scrap The Boys~~~~~Messy May!!!!

Howdy All!
Hope this post finds you all happy and healthy and ready to scrap the messy way....the May at STB

 The critera is to get.....

 ........and I Love it !!!
I decided to create a layout on #3 son, Mason.

{Mason the Courageous}
I have been wanting to scrap this layout for a while and the STB criteria was perfect.....even though, Mason is anything but messy, he is a neat freak.... borderline ocd.... I know his hair tells a different story.... He cops a bit of flak about his locks, I really admire his resolve to be an individual...I think he is courageous...hence my title.
I had lots of fun and I hope you will join us at
Products used: from Craft Queen
  • black gesso, CW template, square trim, tiny twine, canvas paper, Prima wooden embellishments.
  Chippy Helm from Scrapmatts (CB4059)
Lots of messy stitching and stamping.....notice I've used the black gesso on the Square Trim and I had no little black buttons so I painted them with gesso as well (Handy stuff to have around, that black gesso).
I've also been using the look of thinks you shall be seeing these a lot more on my work....

 Okay lovelies time for me to go.....PLEASE leave me a little love....if you stop by....pretty please.
 Love and hugs.....
