Stuck?!**** December 15th **** Sketch

  Such a busy time of the year, school holidays are here
 .....all 6ish weeks of them, here in Australia!!
 Lots of fun in the sun!!!

Not for our son Rhys who will be having a White Christmas in Japan. He tells me he plans to go skiing, during his break from Uni.

I decided to do my Stuck?! 15th layout on him as he won't be here with us this year...sob!

 Snowflakes and reindeers are from CraftQueen. Not sure if they are still in stock, but Nicole has lots of awesome Christmas stock, be sure to pop over and have a look!
 As I said before it's been a busy week....

Teaching for CraftQueen @ Scrapbooking & Papercraft Expo-Melb-2013

Hello friends.....I'm so SuPeR excited to be teaching next March 1st-3rd at the Melbourne Scrapbooking Expo.....I mean WOW!!!!
                                                                ME.....teaching, (still pinching myself!!!)

 I would just like to thank Nicole from Craftqueen for inviting me to be part of such an event.
I hope to share alot of what I love to do.....layers, texture, stitching!!!

Now, Miss A loves Christmas....( you should she her house at night......lights, lights and more glorious christmas lights!!!!) My kiddies love driving past....the little sighs of delight are pretty cool.

So new month means, new Stuck?! sketch is up for you to interpret....the awesome Kim Price is the Guest Designer for December......(one talented chickie)

 So my December 1st layout looks like....

My 2nd son, Rhys with the 2nd last son, McKenzie......look at that cow lick!!! They copped it big time!

 The sketch looks like ....below. I decided to flip the sketch on it's side. I trimmed the photo and made it narrow to fit the sketch. Some fussy cutting using Graphic45 pp, some glimmermist....lots of stitching and .....DONE

Hope you can play along this month at Stuck?!. Can't wait to see what you all come up with.

Since it is the festive season I will try to share some pic's I will more than likely add to my December Daily....this one is of Sidney and Hugo clowning around yesterday (2nd Dec).

December @ Scrap The Boys

Hello Scrappy friends,

   Hope this December finds you all happy and healthy and looking forward to this 2012 Festive Season?
  Firstly I would like to tell/show you the NEW challenge for Scrap The Boys.


This month we want to see you create a layout using a Christmas themed photo and a Non Traditional colour scheme.

*Please make sure when you link your layout that you add your country as well as your name, you have until 11.59pm December 31st.

 I decided to go with one of my favourite colours blue..... I changed my pic to B&W Black and White photo's

Can't wait to see everyone's take on this great challenge.....and the last challenge for STB's for 2012.
 We have had a busy last few days here....DD, Samantha recieved her early entry acceptance letter for Uni....(mother says while chest is majorly puffed out, with pride!!!) and then Friday she had her Graduation, so proud of my gorgeous big girl....sigh!

 She has set the bar high for her little sisters.....Mantha is such a great roll you my girl and you can not imagine how proud Iam of you!!!
Saturday as you know was December 1 and with that (in this house), comes THE PUTTING UP OF THE CHRISTMAS TREE.....


We are going for Blue-Red-Gold colour theme this year....each year I try to do a different colour theme, I always buy decorations at the end of season try and keep the cost down.

Samantha couldn't be home on Saturday so she got to put the Star on the top of the tree..... that is the prized job!!!
 Well it capped off a very special week for my Mantha.
