Wow!
October is here and it's time for Challenge 6 at
Scrap Around The World (Still in shock that I'm amongst such a talented group of Scrapper's!!?)
Scrap Around The World Challenge SIX
Last month we made some IMPORTANT RULE CHANGES
so if you haven't checked them out yet please look HERE.
Here is what I've created
{Model Moments}
Feel free to interpret the mood board in any way you like,
using one image, several of them, all of them or even just
one aspect of an image, using ANY COLOURS! Please
do let us know HOW YOU WERE INSPIRED!!
For example:- You could use fresh, clean colours like white, pale blue,
yellow, pink, mint green & gold. Patterns such as florals/leafy foliage
together with images of birds, flowers, chevrons & polka-dots! There
are elements of vintage mixed in with modern; doilies, airy lace designs,
pretty bows & clashing colours, shapes & prints. Circles, checks,
stripes - this board is all about eclectic combinations!
There's an air of nostalgia mixed in with the uber-modern images too.
This could prompt you to scrap about different generations, life as it
was then & how it is now, or simply outdoor memories inspired by the
botanical prints. This board evokes images of purity, beauty &
femininity,with a touch of romance & homely peace & comfort.

What really caught my eye in the Mood Board was the GOLD elements.....the bows on the soft pink shoes, the GOLD of the picture frame. The SPOTS on the blue milk jug, the SOFT LIMEY GREEN of the bowls and also the PINK of the flowers in the sweet DOILY edged vases......So MUCH inspiration in Jessy's mood board for my layout.
I found this very cute photo of my youngest daughter, Sidney a few weeks ago and the spots on her sweet dress just so, went with this challenge!!!
On the day this pic was taken my girls (the 3 of them decided to dress up, put on make-up and take photo's.... a Mini Model session. Samantha was the photographer and looking back at these photo's I now wonder what Samantha said to Sidney to get this MOODY LOOK????
I've used a Kaisercraft stencil and texture paste, watercolours a mixture of flowers from Prima and
with the zipper I have used Silks acrylic glaze in Solar Gold to paint a white and silver and added a few gold buttons. I've also used the acrylic glaze to paint around the edge of my layout and also used some machine stitching!!!

{Colour My World}
I first painted the ATC bases (ATC10-008 Rounded Corners 01)
with gesso then added texture using a a couple of different masks and
texture paste. Painted with some silks acrylic glaze in teal and added a
bit of drywall tape. I painted the Floral Spray (CB1097), Snowflakes
(CB1179), and the super cute Reindeer (CB5050) in gesso then added
Acrylic glaze in Solar Gold to the Reindeer and swiped a little of the
glaze around the outside of the ATC's. 
With the
Snowflake ATC, I have layered it and placed a little muslin between the
layers. I have also put some Glossy Accent on the Snowflakes and also on
the Floral Spray behind the Rudolph. I've used the NEW Christmas Words
in Red (CB1212) to finish the ATC's off.
