Part 2- Brisbane Expo

After meeting and doing some way awesome shopping on Saturday.....we headed back to Leanne's stopping for pizza & some red along the way. Ended up scrapping the night away and miss A giving Leanne some photo editing education....miss A is one handy person to have around, not to mention she's an absolute BLAST!

Sunday we went into Southbank, had a huge coffee, picked up  Leanne's daughter Jenita on the way and later met with miss A's brother, Jeff and her cousin Julie...wandered around the markets had a bite to eat and had a little walk along the river....all very enjoyable. We then walked back to the convention centre, where Annette, Jeff and Julie parted ways..Annette was going to a little family reunion.
Mary, leanne and I headed into the lifeline book fair to have a browse...oh my lord...books of every description.
 Monday we were back at the Expo around 11ish...listened to a scrap talk by Kerryn Leworthy...picked up a few good tips....very interesting stuff.
12-2pm our first class with Angela Peardon.... 2 hours has never gone so fast...it was intense but fun. I'll put a pic up of it once I get some on my camera.
Had a bite to eat...Jess Mac joined us...she is just sooo lovely/gorgeous!
We, (Mary, Annette, Leanne and I), hit our next class with Rachael Grieg....again awesome stuff, really enjoyed that class as well, again I need to take pic's of the cards we made then I'll post.

{Jess,Annette,Me,Mary & Leanne}
Felt totally exhausted be the time we got back to Leanne's. Had dinner then we watched a movie which had references to scrapping in it....New In Town.
 Tuesday, the long trip home. Miss Mary had to leave a few hours earlier as her mum wasn't well and she needed to get to Orange asap.
 Miss Annette and I had agood trip the only pain was on the bus from the airport to Orange the driver set the bus temp to 36 degrees....was nice for a bit. Miss A soon told him..remember it's so cold here in Orange we could have got rather ill going from 36 down to like 5 degrees.
 Roy and my children gave me huge cuddles and long ones too which is rare here.

Also wanted to show you a couple of   layouts I've  done for Craftqueen.

{I Treasure You Two}

my beautiful nieces Roxanne & Kaila
using some of the wonderful punches and ribbons, lace and buttons available at Craft Queen.
The little purple flowers are made from paper ribbon....easy as.

{She is Calmness}

I used some of the awesome Collections Tissue paper on this layout also yummy tea dyed lace, satin seam binding and prima stamp from Craft Queen.
Nicole used some of my layouts in her talk on scrapbooking trends 2011 at the EXPO.
( I know shameless boasting).
 That's a long enough post for today hope I haven't bored you too much? Anywho time to get moving on other things.
                                                                           Cheers and see you next time
