Hello friends!
It's been a while since I have participated in a Scrappy Challenge so I thought I would tackle this months
challenge over at

So, all I needed to do was visit my local hardware/paint store....pick out a few paint swatches to match my photo and away I went!

I loved this photo my daughter-in-law took of her littlest man.....he's just so cute!!!

I teamed this photo with some appropriately named swatches as luck had it..... [Mint Crunch, Homestyle & Capsule] lol and also used a selection of Scrapmatts Chipboard & Stencils.

Hope you all had a fab Easter?

Until next time
Happy Krafting

*Major Case File #225 Solved* CSI & Scrapmatts

Well, SCRAPMATTS design team have been assigned to solve a Major Case File,
over at CSI!

Major Case File #225 looks a little like this!

It's a great case & along with 'Nifty Pixel' sketch it's a whole lot of goodness!

Here is how I solved Case #225
Major Case File #225

Colour Scheme: All colours used.
Evidence: Stars, bunting, circles, wings
Testimony: Inspiration words-fly. My title 'Time to Fly the Nest'. (Journaling on back of layout).
After 18 years & 6 months of having you tucked safely under our wings, the time has come to let you fly! On the 5th of February, 2017 we drove you to your new home,UC Lodge at The University of Canberra. Studying for a Bachelor of Medical Science. We are so very proud of you Madi and miss you like crazy!

Products Used:

Scrapmatts have an amazing range of chipboard & a great range of Stencils.
If you get a chance check them out!!!

To create the word 'fly' I have used the very versatile Alphabet Stencil and paint.
I use this stencil a lot with my creating.....this way I can create whatever title I like!

I hope you have enjoyed looking at my layout as much as I enjoyed playing along with this case from
CSI
A few years ago I was a DT member of CSI and always enjoyed solving the cases......why don't you try and solve case#225 and get your special moments scrapped?
Thanks so much for stopping by!

Creating for Craft Queen

Fancy that!
I actually made it back within the week to add a new post!

Today I wanted to share with you all a layout I have created using
awesome products from
Boutique Craft Supplies

Nicole has an amazing supply of stunning products
(You should pop on over & have a look through her online store).
Here is my latest layout.

 I have used the

I simply stamped lots of the Darkroom Door Fine Flowers on my base, then I stamped some onto some cardstock & fussy cut these out. Using the distress ink I added some colour to my base & to the flowers.
Added the Stripe Ribbon (which is one of my Fav's), tried a pretty bow using the Satin Seam Binding, created a few flower buds using the Satin Seam Binding & stuck these in place along with a few buttons and that gorgeous Bronze Deer Head. Lastly I hand drew the border around the outside & dabbed a little texture paste here & there!!!

I am totally in love with this stamp set!!!!

Big thank you to little miss Ayva & her Mummy, Sarah for this gorgeous photo!

Here are a few cards I have designed using the same stamp set!

Thanks so much for stopping by
I do hope you like my creations!

There's Been a Mustard EXPLOSION @ Kraft+

Hello
I know I've been a super slack blogger of late!
(Wow! March!!! was the last post I put up on my blog)

Well, I have returned!

Today, I want to share with you a layout I have created as a
Guest Designer for
Sandra has put together an awesome challenge
with a great visual prompt, which I will show you later in my post.

To create my layout I have used the
AMAZING NEW KIT
 'Favourite Little Something'
from
(this kit was seriously HOT......I'm talking like sizzling hot!)
So here is what I created

 [Boys Will Be Boys]
On the 31st of May, Mason came off his skateboard which resulted in this break.....resulting in surgery the following day....I was so impressed with how brave my boy was!

Here is the inspiration picture that I'm sure will inspire you!

The roll of tape in the top right & also the poster coming away from the wall inspired me....hence the top left-hand roll of my Kraft base and my tape like roll of Kaisercraft-Cut & Paste!
(below)

Yes, an EPIC break calls for a layout!
The Kaisercraft, Cut & Paste paper, cardstock, and the (awesome) Gold Faber-Castell Texture Luxe
from this fabulous kit + the cute embellies made this layout come together!

So Scrappy peeps if you get the chance make sure you play along at

and if you your looking for a GREAT KIT CLUB that supplies
amazing papers...the latest on trend goodies
you really should take a look at
here is a look at this months kit!

It comes with 5 and a half patterned papers from different ranges. A piece of Kraft and a piece of black card stock as well as some Faber Castell Texture Luxe in the Gold. Perfect for this challenge and some gorgeous flakes from Stampendous, two paper straws and some twine.
If you are interested in purchasing the kit, here is more information.
We will take you through using the product along with some staple items in your stash to make the 3 stunning layouts you can see in the graphic.  So get your willingness to learn as you create three different layouts with the help of THREE videos.  You are sure to nail all the techniques for each layout that don't have a view by date - you get to watch them forever if you wish!

Kits are still $39 + Postage with LOADS of value for you money, as it is like doing 3 classes - all in the comfort of your own home!

They are self-paced class kits to complete in the comfort of your own home or with a group of friends
