Creating with Scrapmatts & Remembering when a Special Little Man came into the World!

Evening All :)

Popping in to share this SPECIAL layout I created, capturing a very 

special time in my baby brother's life....

When he became a Father 

(Five years ago!  That has gone way too quick!)

Now the photo isn't the sharpest or clearest....but I simply 

LOVE IT!

I have scrapped it before....but very differently.  

Oliver was 1 day old in this photo...snuggled into his Daddy.

 

I have used the new release

SCRAPMATTS - Bubbles (CB5131)

[Isn't it just stunning!]

I had to jump in & use it asap!

I have also used a C/W Stencils in my background.

Challenge 22 @ Scrap Around The World.

Hello All!

 The mood boards at Scrap Around The World have always been amazing!

 The Design Team put together some truly gorgeous & inspirational images

 to really get the mojo moving in the right direction, which lets face it we all need at times!

This month, Tatiana Sidorenko has put together a stunning mood board to inspire!

 I would like to share with you a layout created for the February Challenge (#22), over at

Scrap Around The World

Here is my layout.... 

  {Cherish Happiness}

My beautiful daughter, Samantha & her handsome man, Joliver (aka Jake).

I have used some gorgeous Tresors de Luxe lace on my layout along with some trim & C/W stencil from Craft Queen & the words are from Scrapmatts.

I found my inspiration for this layout in the bottom left picture.....the green (of course) & the darkness of the shadows amongst the foliage.

Sunshine & Kraft +

Hello all & Happy Valentine's Day....yes a day for LOVE & the day

my hubby Roy & I tied the knot, so to speak!

23 years ago.... can't believe it!

Anyhow onto more crafty thoughts..... 

My dear Krafty friend, Sandra Wallace has started a brand new challenge blog.

Kraft + 

The very first challenge went live on the 1st of February & it is gorgeous. I couldn't wait to get 

creative using the awesome colour combo

(I have added the inspiration pic at the bottom of my post)

This sweet little cutie is a friends daughter, Ayva. 

Her mummy, Sarah took this beautiful photograph & is a very talented photographer!

(thank you Sarah for allowing me to scrap your gorgeous girl!)

 I have used some of the NEW RELEASE 

SCRAPMATTS- Diamond Mesh

on my project. I have painted it with gesso.

The flowers are a mix from PRIMA and

CRAFT QUEEN

and the Red paper cord is also from Craft Queen.

I have also used a combination of Ecoline Watercolor Inks, 

Glimmermist & good 'ole H2O

Hello all, stopping in to share a little!

I have created this layout using some of the

Just before Christmas (2014) Rhys traveled to Xian, China to complete a unit of study

required for his Uni Degree and of course visited the Terracotta Warriors

A huge thank you to his very dear friend Stacey for snapping this photo and sending it to me

I have also used some old Kaisercraft Stamps & also some Darkroom Door stamps I have had in my stash for a very long time!

The buttons & eyelets are also from my stash.

The word Discover is from Scrapmatts

I love that he is seeing this world of ours!

How fast has this last month gone?

With the kids back at school I am hoping to get more of a chance to create.

Last week my eldest daughter turned 21!

It really is hitting home how fast time is ticking by...

 I now have 3 children over the age of 21....CRAZY!

We had a fancy dress birthday party for Samantha & 60 family and friends helped us celebrate!

Big THANK YOU to Michael for organizing the cake....it was delicious!

 

It was a fun night!

A HUGE thank you to Miss Annette, Gail & my dear friend Jenny for all there

wonderful help during the night!
