March Challenge at Scrap The Boys

Hello Everybody....

What an amazing week I've had....

Shall share that once I let you know about the March Scrap the Boys Challenge and let you know there is also new DT members.

THIS MONTHS CHALLENGE..

This month your challenge is to create a layout using these base requirements, you can add other items but these must be used...

2 Photos 6x4 or smaller
Chipboard
Washi Tape
Mists/Paints

*You have until 11.59pm April 6th to link your layouts and please remember that your entries must not be used for any other challenges...

This month STB has 4.....yes, 4 amazing sponsors...be sure to check it out!!!!!

HERE!!!

 My creation looks like.......

{Nambucca Sands}

I've used some glorious SCRAPMATTS (CB6064-nautical designs). I've painted with gesso and then added some texture paste....if you look close you can see the texture on the lighthouse in the 2nd photo. I've also used Satin Seam Binding & washi tape from CraftQueen (Nicole has some fab designs available).
The lovely Mary gave me the netting which reminded me of sea foam....
When I went to print these photo's out of my littlest man my printer was running low on ink....but I decided I liked the effect it gave to the layout, I also printed the photo's on canvas.

Now back to my amazing last week.....Melbourne Scrapbooking and Papercraft Expo was fab!!!!
Firstly a huge thank you to Nicole from CraftQueen. Making this dream come true!
My first teaching gig and it was such a great experience....all the lovely ladies who attended my classes...I thank you, you made it so enjoyable.
The other awesome thing is meeting such talented people...all under the one roof.
I have to go now but (need to feed the hungry troops) but I shall return to tell you more about EXPO
Thanks for stopping by and hope you get the time to play along at STB

Cheers
