Finished my layout for this months Challenge over at OUAS

I've had a good week so far with winning the f/n challenge over at The Boxx and also being featured.... way awesome.

Sad note Hamish a beautiful cat has gone to live with my eldest son Alex and his partner Ashlea...Master HUGO is (we think), allergic...
Kids are back to school here tomorrow so I'll finally be able to catch up properly with the washing etc....as fast as I clean it , they dirty it!!!!! grrr

April Sketch Challenge over at The Boxx

Samantha is trying to figure out what she wants to do once she finishes school....she is a real planner so she is thinking really hard...at this stage she said she wants to go to Uni.

Happy EGGster.

Eggcellent!!!

Early start this morning. Kids are always super keen to get up and outside to hunt for eggs and the fluffy one sure left a load of choclatey goodness in our garden and garage (dogs in back yard).

Last year Benny (spaniel) sniffed Sidney's chocolate stash out. We thought we might have to have his stomach pumped but he was fine.

 All the kids slept in the one bedroom...love how they do that. Happens every Easter & Christmas Eve...they spend the night watching movies and being together.

Sadly we are having our first Easter without Rhys under our wing....but we talked to him last night and he told me to send his chocolate in the post....yeah! right son...!

Now for a few pics and my latest layout which I did for The colour room....

Got a few yummy goodies earlier this week and needed to have a little play.

Thought I should do a layout of me being 40 (as I won't be for much longer).  That changes in 16ish days.

Simply Gorgeous.

Fortnightly challenge over at the Boxx is Tear and Repair....so decided to scap a photo of Roy as a 7 year old...I really love this photo of him it is just GORGEOUS (how handsome was he!!!).
 Roy's mother gave me this photo back in 1988...when I first met her over in Perth, I was a mere 18 year old then....

   Anyways...I put this layout together (mostly), over at Miss Annette's on Saturday arvo @ our f/nightly scrap session.


 On a SUPER EXCITING note Mary, Annette and I are heading off to Brisbane in June to the  Papercraft Expo....Sooooo (happy dance) excited. Can't wait to meet alot of scrappy peeps I've come to know and admire on the net.
Should be one fun-filled 5 days and what a hoot going with 2 amazing fun loving gals like Mary & Annette.

So bring on JUNE.....

Took the kiddies over to Kaila's yesterday. Candice was there as well so it was really great, always love catching up! So love my extended family they, ( Kaila/Roxanne/Candice), often are the closest I have to best friends.

My Scrappy Space (oh yeah! and study space....cough!!)

As my Daddy dearest is all mended after his hip replacement, well, well on his way, he decided to head back to his little farm  in country QLD. So I have taken back our 5th bedroom and I finally have my Scrappy/study room. This smallish room has great natural light....

Hey! it's a work in progress.....all seems pretty organised at present.....won't stay like this for long!

Weather looks a little nicer here today. Samantha and I are planning on walking/jogging to the gym,(it is roughly 3-4km away), doing a workout then walking/jogging home again...well that's the plan anyways???

KIU April Challenge.

Hello there sweet people!
spent the last few days on this layout which is very dear to my heart. Decide to use this months challenge over at Kraft It Up

In March I lost a dear friend to Ovarian cancer. She only turned 40 last June and was a mother to 5 children and a grandmother to Noah.

The loss of Lisa has rocked my world and made me think and scrap on a different, more heart felt level.


Now to the layout.
I made my own transparencies for this layout and now I'm hooked on them......so much fun and so easy to make. The usual lots of stitching. Also got the darling little tags from a local craft shop and find them truly yummy.

     The journaling on this layout is what I wrote and read out at her service, so the title relates back to that time. Sorry about the quality of the pics as it is a very overcast day here in Orange, think we are headed for a top of around 13......Brrr!

Inspirational Challenge #6 (March)

Hi Ladies just finished a layout for Get Picky challenge....Inspiration....below.n


A couple of days ago I found a photograph of my darling baby brother, Shane with his newborn son, Oliver.

I SO Love this shot of them together.....it just melts my heart every time I look at it.

I love it to bits...I was sent this pic in an email so I couldn't really lighten it/ I don't know how to. I tried taking a photo of this photo and using my software but it didn't make alot of diffence....so just went with it.





Ohhh! how beautiful.....




Butterflies are just soooo in right now!!!
